Entity Candles began in Seattle in 2020 with something simple: a husband and wife making candles together.

For founders Shanise and Marcelus Kemp, candle making became more than a creative hobby. It was time to slow down, connect, experiment with fragrance, and create something together. That experience sparked an idea, what if we could create that same feeling for other people?
What began at home grew into Entity Candles, a Seattle-based candle and experience company centered around fragrance, creativity, and connection.​​​

From Candles to Experiences
As Entity grew, so did our vision.
Today, our Seattle studio is a place where people can do more than shop for a candle, they can create something of their own. Guests join us for candle-making classes, tea-blending experiences, private celebrations, date nights, team-building events, and special workshops designed to bring people together.And when the celebration can't come to us, we bring Entity to you through our off-site and corporate experiences throughout the Seattle area.
Whether you're blending your signature fragrance, creating a custom tea, celebrating a milestone, or simply stopping in to discover a new scent, we want your time at Entity to feel personal, welcoming, and memorable.

We continue to handcraft our candles using premium coconut apricot wax, quality fragrance oils, and carefully selected materials to create fragrances that become part of your space and your memories.
Our collection includes handcrafted candles, wax melts, seasonal fragrances, gifts, and custom offerings, alongside the hands-on experiences that have become such an important part of Entity.
